Costs

Pilot training in Europe: Germany, Spain and EASA costs in rupees

Europe trains pilots to the EASA standard, and an EASA CPL is accepted for conversion to a DGCA licence in India once you complete DGCA's conversion steps. Plan on ₹70 lakh+ for EASA CPL training in Europe, including Germany and Spain. Course fees are set in euros, so the rupee cost moves with the exchange rate, and living costs, visa and DGCA conversion come on top.

Pilot training in Spain

Spain has EASA-approved training organisations with good flying weather for much of the year. Fees are set in euros by each school; ask for a written quote that lists flight hours, simulator time, exams and accommodation separately.

Pilot training in Germany

See our full cost breakdown in rupees: pilot training in Germany for Indian students.

After the CPL: A320 type rating.

Questions

Questions about training in Europe

Is there a fee to talk to you?

No. The first counselling call to check eligibility and map your route costs nothing, and there is no deposit to talk to us.

Who delivers the training?

Independent partner flight schools in Europe, under their national authority. Pilots Assist does not run a school or own aircraft.

Is a visa guaranteed?

No. We help prepare your file; the embassy or immigration office makes the decision.

Will an EASA licence work in my country?

Conversion depends on your regulator. We plan it from day one and set out each route on the country pages.

Does it guarantee a job?

No. Hiring is the airline's decision.

How much does pilot training in Europe cost for Indian students?

Plan on ₹70 lakh+ for an EASA CPL in Europe, including Germany and Spain. Fees are set in euros, and living costs, visa and DGCA conversion are extra. Your costed plan replaces this with written school quotes.

Can I convert an EASA licence to a DGCA licence?

Yes. Indian pilots with an EASA CPL complete DGCA's conversion requirements, including DGCA papers and checks, before flying commercially in India. We plan the conversion from day one.
