Questions

Questions about type ratings

Who delivers the training?

Approved partner training providers, under their own approvals.

Does a type rating guarantee a job?

No. Airline selection is decided by the airline.

Can the rating be financed?

Students from India can get loan-application help from Pilots Sky Lend, which covers type ratings as well as CPL training and ground classes; elsewhere we offer loan guidance.

Is there a fee to talk to you?

No. The first counselling call to check eligibility and map your route costs nothing, and there is no deposit to talk to us.

Do you work with airlines and operators too?

Yes. Our operator tracks, such as type rating and training for airline and cargo operators, are delivered through partner training providers. Operators can contact us through the operator enquiry form.

What comes after the commercial pilot licence?

Most airline pilots next add a type rating for a specific aircraft, such as the Airbus A320, and meet the airline's own selection process. We help you apply to airlines and look for OJT programmes where available. Type rating can be arranged through partner training providers.
