Questions

Before you book

Does it cost anything to talk to you?

No. Counselling is free and there is no deposit to talk to us. You can ask every question you have, compare destinations and see a plan before you decide anything.

Who will I deal with at Pilots Assist?

You get one named advisor who stays with you from counselling to licence, so you never have to explain your story twice. Alongside your advisor, our cadet desk is there for students who are already training abroad.

Am I eligible to become a pilot?

In all seven destinations you can hold a commercial pilot licence (CPL) from age 18, and you need to meet the medical standard and aviation English at ICAO Level 4 or above. Airline-bound pilots should hold a Class 1 medical. If you plan to fly in India, DGCA also asks for Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics. Our free eligibility checker and your advisor can look at your case in detail.

How much does pilot training cost?

It depends on the destination, the school, the exchange rate and how quickly you progress. Our cost calculator shows current estimates by destination, in your own currency, and your advisor then builds a costed plan for your exact route. We don't quote one fixed price, because honest numbers change with the school and the currency.

Can you help us get an education loan?

Yes. Students from India can use Pilots Sky Lend, our education-loan application support for CPL training, type ratings and ground classes. It covers collateral and non-collateral routes, a lender-ready file and disbursement planned around the school's fee stages. If you live elsewhere, we offer loan guidance on how families usually fund training in your country.

Will I get an airline job after training?

No one can honestly guarantee a job; airlines make their own hiring decisions. What we do is help you apply to airlines after your licence and help you get into an OJT (on-the-job training) programme where one is available. A well-planned licence, a converted home licence and good records put you in a strong position.
