Questions

Questions families ask

Is an education loan for pilot training guaranteed?

No.

Can you help with a loan without collateral?

We help you understand collateral and non-collateral routes and prepare the application.

When should I apply?

Before you commit to non-refundable school payments, so the written finance position is clear before the school's payment deadline.

Is this available outside India?

Pilots Sky Lend is for students from India. Elsewhere, your advisor explains how families usually fund training.

Is there a fee to talk to you?

No. The first counselling call to check eligibility and map your route costs nothing, and there is no deposit to talk to us.

How much can I borrow for pilot training?

Many families use pilot training loans up to ₹1 crore, subject to lender approval. On our planning figures, CPL training costs about ₹75 lakh in India and from ₹60 lakh to ₹70–75 lakh+ abroad, so plan living costs and DGCA conversion on top. See the pilot training cost comparison.

How are loan payments released to the flying school?

Under DGCA Flying Training Circular 02 of 2026, approved flying schools in India must take flying fees in four 25% blocks as training progresses and give you the full fee structure in writing before you enrol, so ask your lender to match disbursements to those blocks. For loans without property security, read our guide to pilot training loans without collateral.

Pilot training loan in India: how we help

Financing pilot training is the biggest hurdle for most families. A pilot education loan, sometimes called a pilot loan or flight training loan, works like any education loan: a bank or non-bank lender pays the school in stages and you repay after the course. We help with education loan for pilot training in India, education loan for commercial pilot training in India and education loan for pilot training abroad. Pilot training loans of up to ₹1 crore are available, subject to lender approval.

Education loan for CPL in India

An education loan for CPL in India usually needs admission proof from a DGCA-approved school, a co-applicant's income documents and, for larger amounts, collateral.

Education loan for pilot training without collateral

Some lenders offer loans for pilot training without collateral, usually for smaller amounts and with a strong co-applicant. Read our guide on pilot training loans without collateral.

Loans for flight training abroad

Aviation training loans and flight training loans for schools abroad follow the same process, plus proof of the overseas admission and visa. Your advisor compares lenders' current terms in writing for your exact route.

What do you tell every family first?

The page sets out what we tell every family first.
