PAQuestions
Questions about the cadet programme
Can you run our whole cadet programme?
Yes. We manage the pipeline from intake to hand-over: training contracts, ground school, CPL training at partner flight schools, licence conversion to your regulator and the type rating, with progress reports to you at each stage. Your airline sets the entry standards and makes the final selection.
Who decides which cadets join the programme?
You do. Your airline sets the entry standards and runs its own selection, and we support the intake alongside your team. Once you have selected your cadets, we take the programme from there.
Do you train the cadets yourselves?
No. Training is delivered by independent partner flight schools and training providers under their own regulator approvals. We coordinate the programme and stay accountable to you for how it runs.
What reports do we receive during training?
You receive progress reports at each stage: ground school, flight training, licence issue, conversion and type rating. If a cadet falls behind, we tell you early and explain the plan.
How do cadets fund their training?
The funding model is agreed with each airline. Cadets from India who hold your letter of intent can use Pilots Sky Lend for help preparing an education-loan application for CPL training, type ratings and ground classes.
Does a letter of intent guarantee a cadet a job?
No. A letter of intent records your intention on your own terms; it is not a promise of employment. We make this clear to every cadet in writing.
Which licence do cadets hold at hand-over?
Cadets train for a CPL abroad, convert it to your regulator's licence and complete the type rating for your fleet before hand-over to your line training. Your regulator decides each conversion.
How do we start, and does it cost anything?
