Rotary wing · PPL(H) to CPL(H)
Admissions openHelicopter training for pilots who'd rather land anywhere.
Rotary flying is a different career, not a smaller one: offshore, EMS, tourism, utility, VIP charter and law enforcement. Very few Indian advisors handle it properly. We do.
Licence ladder
From your first hover to a commercial rotary licence.
Helicopter training is hour-intensive early — hovering alone can absorb your first ten hours. Budgeting for that honestly is half the job.
- 011 day
STEP 01
Class 1 Medical
Same medical standard as fixed wing, cleared before any deposit is paid.
- 02~45 hrs
STEP 02
PPL(H)
Hovering, autorotations, confined-area work and cross-country navigation in a Robinson R22 or R44.
- 03~100 hrs
STEP 03
Hour Building
Command time across varied terrain — mountainous, coastal and confined landing sites.
- 04~10 hrs
STEP 04
Night Rating
Night operations and unlit-site awareness, essential for EMS and charter employers.
- 05~40 hrs
STEP 05
Instrument Rating (H)
IFR helicopter operations — the gateway to offshore and EMS contracts.
- 06150–200 hrs
STEP 06
CPL(H) + Conversion
Commercial skill test, licence issue and DGCA conversion with ground classes and RTR(A).

School, finance, visa and licence return planned as one journey.
Aircraft & environment
Trained on the types operators actually fly.
- Robinson R22 and R44 for ab-initio and hour building
- Bell 206 JetRanger and Airbus H125 turbine differences
- Confined area, sloping ground and mountain operations
- Autorotation proficiency to commercial test standard
- Night and instrument exposure where the base supports it
- Human factors and CRM to operator standard
